Nachdem die Schweizer 2020 das Album „Mad Wold“ zu ihrem 25 jährigen Band Jubiläum veröffentlichten und eigentlich auch auf große Tour gehen wollten. Durch Hochs und Tiefs hat die Band ihr Schiff erfolgreich gesteuert und kann auf fünfundzwanzig-jährige Reife und Erfahrung zurückgreifen. Dieses Jubiläum wollten Shakra gebührlich mit ihren Fans feiern und ein Viertel Jahrhundert harte Rockmusik von der Bühne brettern lassen! Dazu kam es ja leider nicht mehr, es kam der große Shutdown und wie wenn die Band schon Vorahnungen gehabt hätte, zeichnete sich dies in den kommenden Monaten auch ab was gerade um uns herum passiert.
“Mad World” – Verrückte Welt. Das ist sie in der Tat, in all ihren Facetten. Was gestern gut war, ist heute schlecht, was gestern Wert hatte, ist heute wertlos, Nicht-Reales wird zu glänzendem Gold. Es sind nicht nur in der Musikszene turbulente Zeiten – die ganze Welt steht Kopf, sucht nach neuen Lösungen. Der Wandel der Zeit mag uns ungewohnt vorkommen, umgibt uns dennoch jede Sekunde unseres Lebens!
